Friday 23rd

Embraceable Ella,  Chris Ingham & Joanna Eden playing
the music of Ella FItszgerald at 7pm and tickets are £10.
There is also a singing workshop associated with this at 10am, which is free, with buckets.
Chris Ingham was here a couple of years ago, when he did the music of
Hoagey.  He is joined this time by Joanna Eden.

A distinguished duo of singer Joanna Eden and pianist Chris Ingham present
an entertaining evening of anecdote, insight and classic songs associated
with the legendary First Lady of Song. With stories of how Ella rose to
glory from desperately humble origins and featuring beloved compositions by
George Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter and other writers of the
Golden Age of Popular Song.

Saturday 24th

On Saturday at 7pm – Ibou Tall & the Jazz Mates £12.50 – Dazzlingly
impressive Senagalese jazz pianist Ibou Tall takes the classic sounds of
piano standards but there is no denying his African influences. He brings a
rich and rhythmic Afro jazz fusion to original material and well known

Sunday 25th

Finally on Sunday at 7pm – Alison Rayner Quintet £15 – Winners of the
prestigious Parliamentary Jazz Awards,  ARQ is fronted by  Alison Rayner who has gathered a group of musicians who sympathetically support her music. Thegroup’s imaginative and assured playing are superbly suited to Rayner’s compositions and reflect a confidence inspired by working intensively together. They are appearing at Aberjazz touring their first album ‘August’.
