MC Clare Ferguson-Walker

Award-winning stand-up comedienne and poet, Clare Ferguson-Walker is back at Theatr Gwaun with her bawdy and razor-sharp humour. “Utterly Hilarious” Metro.

Chris Chopping

Bedfordshire-born Chris Chopping began his stand-up career in Wales and quickly racked up a brace of new act competition wins. Since then, his dry outlook and hilarious punchlines have established him as a fixture of professional comedy nights across Wales and beyond. He’s also taken seven shows (including three solo hours) to the Edinburgh Festival where his strong material and deadpan persona have garnered him a cult following.

As seen on BBC One, regular contributor to BBC online content ‘SESH’ and as tour support to both Ignacio Lopez & Daniel Muggleton, Chris has recently released a one-hour special on UK Comedy streaming service ‘Next Up…’ and has even turned his hand to stand-up in a foreign tongue, making his Welsh-language TV debut for S4C’s stand-up showcase ‘Gwerthu Allan’. As a writer, Chris’s work has garnered over 5 million views to date, having written opinion pieces, music and pro-wrestling journalism and topical news response articles for What Culture, Golwg360 (Welsh language) and Do Not Read.

Headliner – Andrew Rutledge

Since debuting in January 2016, Andrew has rapidly developed into one of the most promising comedians in Wales. A gifted storyteller with a potent armoury of killer lines and comic voices that are underpinned by his warm likeable delivery.

Andrew graduated from open 10s to paid 20s within a few months and is now seen as a trusted and sort-after opener.

Weighing in at 19 stone and at the towering height of 5′ 3″ he takes pride in the fact he is the tallest, thinnest man to come out of his village.

A Son of the valleys, Andrew possesses a disarming Welsh Charm that is received just as well in Tamworth as in Treorci and has been described by comedy legend, Noel James as a kind of “Welsh Les Dawson”.

In his quirky look on life, he covers such topics as his neighbours’ tattoo and his failed prostate exam. With a down at heel hilarity that wins audiences over from the off.

With sets packed with quality material that genuinely connects with audiences, Andrew is regarded as a highly reliable and relatable comedian who can storm it on any bill, in any setting.

MC Clare Ferguson-Walker

Mae’r ddigrifwraig a’r bardd stand-yp arobryn, Clare Ferguson-Walker, yn ôl yn Theatr Gwaun gyda’i hiwmor bêr a miniog. Metro “Hollol Ddoniol”.

Chris Chopping

Dechreuodd Chris Chopping, sy’n enedigol o Swydd Bedford, ar ei yrfa stand-yp yng Nghymru ac yn gyflym fe lwyddodd i ennill nifer o wobrau mewn cystadlaethau act newydd. Ers hynny, mae ei olwg sych a’i doniolwch wedi ei sefydlu fel noson o nosweithiau comedi proffesiynol ledled Cymru a thu hwnt. Mae hefyd wedi mynd â saith sioe (gan gynnwys tair awr unigol) i Ŵyl Caeredin lle mae ei ddeunydd cryf a’i bersona dieflig wedi denu dilynwyr cwlt iddo.

Fel y gwelwyd ar BBC One, sy’n cyfrannu’n rheolaidd at gynnwys ar-lein y BBC ‘SESH’ ac fel cymorth taith i Ignacio Lopez a Daniel Muggleton, mae Chris yn ddiweddar wedi rhyddhau rhaglen arbennig awr o hyd ar wasanaeth ffrydio Comedi’r DU ‘Next Up…’ ac mae hyd yn oed wedi troi ei law i stand-yp mewn iaith estron, gan wneud ei ymddangosiad cyntaf yn y Gymraeg ar y teledu ar gyfer sioe stand-yp S4C ‘Gwerthu Allan’. Fel awdur, mae gwaith Chris wedi denu dros 5 miliwn o olygfeydd hyd yn hyn, ar ôl ysgrifennu darnau barn, newyddiaduraeth cerddoriaeth a phro-reslo ac erthyglau ymateb newyddion amserol ar gyfer What Culture, Golwg360 (Cymraeg) a Do Not Read.

Pennawd – Andrew Rutledge

Ers ei ymddangosiad cyntaf ym mis Ionawr 2016, mae Andrew wedi datblygu’n gyflym i fod yn un o ddigrifwyr mwyaf addawol Cymru. Storïwr dawnus gydag arfogaeth rymus o linellau llofruddiol a lleisiau comig a ategir gan ei gyflwyniad cynnes dymunol.

Graddiodd Andrew o 10s agored i 20au taledig o fewn ychydig fisoedd ac mae bellach yn cael ei ystyried yn agorwr y gellir ymddiried ynddo ac yn dda iawn.

Ac yntau’n pwyso 19 stôn ac ar uchder o 5′ 3″ mae’n ymfalchïo yn y ffaith mai ef yw’r dyn talaf, teneuaf i ddod allan o’i bentref.

Yn Fab o’r Cymoedd, mae Andrew yn meddu ar swyn Cymreig diarfogi sydd yr un mor dda yn Tamworth ag yn Nhreorci ac sydd wedi’i ddisgrifio gan y chwedlonol gomedi, Noel James fel rhyw fath o “Welsh Les Dawson”.

Yn ei olwg hynod ar fywyd, mae’n ymdrin â phynciau fel tatŵ ei gymdogion a’i arholiad prostad a fethodd. Gyda doniolwch ysgafn sy’n denu cynulleidfaoedd o’r newydd.

Gyda setiau’n llawn deunydd o safon sy’n cysylltu’n wirioneddol â chynulleidfaoedd, mae Andrew yn cael ei ystyried yn ddigrifwr hynod ddibynadwy a chyfnewidiol sy’n gallu ei hyrddio ar unrhyw raglen, mewn unrhyw leoliad.
