Policies

Theatr Gwaun is a community-run cinema and theatre serving Fishguard and North Pembrokeshire. Theatr Gwaun is a shared community space. We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable and safe when visiting the theatre. 

By attending events at Theatr Gwaun you agree to the following: 

Respect Others 
Please treat other audience members, staff, volunteers and performers with respect and courtesy. 
Follow guidance from theatre staff so that everyone can enjoy the event. 

Behaviour in the Auditorium 
Disruptive, aggressive or inappropriate behaviour in the auditorium will not be tolerated. 
If disruption occurs: 
1. An usher will give a verbal warning 
2. If the behaviour continues, the Duty Manager may ask the individual to leave the auditorium 
These steps are taken to ensure the comfort and safety of the audience, performers and staff. 

Mobile Phones 
Mobile phones and electronic devices must not be used during performances. Please ensure phones are switched off or on silent before the performance begins. 

Physical Aggression 
Physical aggression or threatening behaviour towards staff, volunteers, performers or audience members will not be tolerated. 

Any individual displaying physical aggression will be required to leave the venue immediately, and the incident may be reported to the police. 

Children and Young People 
Children are welcome at Theatr Gwaun. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children during events. 

Photography and Recording 
Photography or recording during performances may not be permitted. Please follow guidance provided by theatre staff or event organisers. 

Food and Drink 
Only food and drink purchased from the theatre bar, box office, or Martha’s Bar may be consumed in the auditorium. 
This helps support the theatre and our local partners. 
We ask that audience members dispose of all food and drink waste responsibly by placing it in the appropriate bins when leaving the auditorium.

Respect the Space 
Theatr Gwaun is run by a small team and supported by volunteers. Please help us care for the building and respect this shared community space.
