This uplifting film is set in a Mexican elementary school in a poor community with corrupt officials and constant violence. It features Sergio, a new teacher who uses unorthodox teaching methods. Despite causing the head teacher consternation, his methods clearly demonstrate the sheer power an inspirational teacher has to enable young minds to learn and turn their lives around.
